This week I kept working on the theme of coronavirus, when people talk about coronavirus they will automatically link it to China, where the disease started. From my point of view the majority are blaming Chinese people for causing the issue, which is unfair because no one wants the disease. There is no reason for Chinese people to suffer from the invisible racial discrimination. Instead of expressing my anger through Jewellery design as I did with the Brexit ring or the sextual abused dick adornment. I am going to bring people into a discussion by creating a serious of masks. Masks are a powerful object that can represents a serious of political issues. Such as the black mask worn by Hong Kong protesters and the medical masks for coronavirus. It also links back to the horrible air pollution during industrial revolution. Viewers from different regions may responding to the same object in various personal way. I will look into this subject and represents masks through various media.
