I kept on making connection between female body parts and sextual abuse. Referring to a book named ‘Gender and Jewellery’ most jewelry was designed for women is due to women does not have equal social position as men they have to wear jewelry to balance out this gender prejudice. Jewels used to hide precious metal in their moth in order to hide properties from the Nazis. Jewellery were equivalent to money in the concentrate camp.
Jewellery also protect women from getting sextual abuse such as in Kenya after a girl was born they must start wearing metal neck ring, which makes their neck looks extremely long and ugly. The locals believe this ugly feature will protect them from sextual abuse. Wearing Jewellery can keep female safe seems like a positive thing however it is really unfair to keep women from sextual abuse by making they look bad.
