finishing off the bronze cast

After the bronze pour an axe was used to open the mode. It hits the mode along the side and then hit slightly to the other end. When the mode broken into half in order to get the casted object I knocked the bronze tree from its bottom. It was a tough job because all the plaster power blocked the mode from coming out. I move most of the plaster by hand and use the other side of the hammer take the bronze tree out of the robust mode. A wire brush was used to clean plaster that remain on the mode, due to my jewellery are delicate objects I must spend quite a while on brushing.

Jewellery were cut form the bronze tree by using a cutting disc. I placed the blade quite close to the object because it may save me time on polishing. Unfortunately, the sharp blade chopped off the tiny parts from the jewelry.  Next time I will use a dermo to remove the long bronze sticks.
